After an early career in print journalism and teaching ESL for more than twenty years, Dawn Kane is currently freelancing for Grid magazine, working on speculative YA fiction and teaching in Drexel University's Intensive English Program. Her education includes a BA in journalism and a MA in Instructional Design from the University of Maryland. She has previously published in TL;DR's Growth anthology, Drexel University's, The 33rd, and various travel-related publications. She lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and two dogs.
